We are incredibly grateful to have Sam supporting our mother, who lives in a memory care home, for almost two years. She comes twice a week and takes our mum out in the community, bringing joy, enrichment, and laughter to her days. From the start, it was clear Sam was exceptional. Trusting someone new can be hard, especially when family like us live far away, but we trusted Sam from day one, and that trust has only grown stronger over time.

Sam brings positivity and fun to every outing, planning activities around our mum’s favourite things: from trips to the beach, getting ice cream, and mini golfing. She rolls with any challenge, always finding thoughtful and creative ways to make things work. Attentive, observant, and completely reliable, Sam notices our mum’s interests and comes up with new ideas that make their time together special. She is highly capable, organized, and easy to communicate with. The photos and sweet, funny stories Sam shares from their adventures are a weekly highlight and give us real peace of mind knowing our mum is happy, engaged, and thriving.

Sam isn’t just a companion…she’s a gentle advocate who has become like a “third sister” caring for our mum with dignity. Sam is always looking out for mum’s best interests and helps us ensure all her needs are well met. Her warmth, professionalism, and dedication have made a profound difference in our mum’s quality of life and wellbeing. We honestly don’t think we could ever find another Sam. We wholeheartedly recommend her services. Words can’t fully express the difference she has made for our family. She is an absolute gem.

Samantha has been seeing my mom, who has Alzheimer’s, twice a month for over a year and has been amazing! I always know after a visit I will get a text of what they talked about and she’ll let me know if there’s anything she observes that I might need to know about. The best part for me is that she asks my mom questions that bring up memories she hasn’t talked about with me for a long time and then relays what my mom says, which has been really special for me. I wasn’t sure about using Samantha’s service as I had only heard of her through an acquaintance. Best move, I live and work out of town and it’s very difficult for me to see my dad who has just recently moved into a care home. Samantha has been great, she adjusted her schedule to fit in with our needs, was able to overcome some unforeseen obstacles with the care home using common sense and her own initiative, and is prompt and reliable. She is caring and capable and spends quality time with my dad. Samantha has been very helpful for my mom who recently moved into assisted living. She is a good listener, lets my mom guide what she wants to do, and is encouraging and positive.
